How it works

Official sources first. Uncertainty stays visible.

Source hierarchy

Published programme pages, legislation, regulations, councils, transport authorities, and responsible government agencies are the authority. MyEligible summarises those sources in its own words and links back to them.

Rules checked step by step

Where published rules support a clear test or calculation, MyEligible models it step by step. It does not ask a generative model to invent an eligibility decision.

Unknown means unknown

Some decisions depend on facts the quiz does not know, agency discretion, medical evidence, concession cards, assets, or documentation. Those cases remain unresolved or are presented as something to check, rather than being converted into false certainty.

Review and change monitoring

MyEligible tracks verification and review dates and monitors source or policy changes where structured monitoring is available. Automated signals trigger review; they do not automatically rewrite programme rules.

A review date tells you when MyEligible last checked a programme against an official source. It does not guarantee the official source has remained unchanged since that date. Always confirm material details before applying.

National programmes are grouped by their recorded publisher. Regional and council programmes are grouped by the local authority or transport provider. Alternative access channels that point to the same canonical national programme are not double-counted.

A source link and review date do not mean MyEligible can resolve every person's entitlement. Official agencies, councils, and transport providers may need information, evidence, concession credentials, or judgement that is outside the public rules or outside the questions MyEligible asks. The responsible organisation remains the final authority.
