Alberta Energy Rebate: Do you need to apply for $100?

A one-time $100 payment for eligible Alberta adults. Find out what to do, then use the government's official portal.

Application deadline: October 31, 2026.

Which situation describes you?

Listed programs include Alberta Seniors Benefit, Income Support, AISH (Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped), and ADAP (Alberta Disability Assistance Program).

Quick eligibility facts

  • You must have been at least 18 on July 1, 2026, live in Alberta and have filed your 2025 tax return.
  • The 2025 household-income limit is $225,000 or less. Alberta uses a specific tax-return calculation, not just gross pay.
  • Married or common-law partners form one household. Roommates, children over 18, and other adult family members living in the same home are separate households; each adult applies separately.

Before you go

The government application requires a verified Alberta.ca Account and may ask for your SIN and your spouse's information. Enter these details only on the official government portal, never on MyEligible. Ignore unsolicited rebate text-message links.
