MyEligible is a free, bilingual benefits navigator for Canada. Libraries, settlement agencies, disability organizations, caregivers, and municipalities can link to it or use it during appointments without accounts or integrations.
What is MyEligible?
MyEligible helps people discover federal, provincial, territorial, and municipal programs they may qualify for. It uses a short quiz, specialized calculators, and plain-language guides. Results are estimates only. Official agencies decide eligibility.
Who can use it?
Anyone in Canada can use MyEligible on their own. Frontline staff can also walk through the quiz with a client on a shared screen or tablet. No worker login or special access is required.
Is it free?
Yes. MyEligible is free and does not require an account.
Does it require an account?
No. The quiz and results work without sign-in. Answers stay in the browser on that device until the tab is closed.
What information is stored?
MyEligible does not create a server-side profile from quiz answers. Optional analytics records coarse, anonymous categories (for example province and that a quiz was completed), not names, SINs, or exact income. If you share a results link, treat it like sensitive paperwork. See the Privacy for full details.
What jurisdictions are covered?
MyEligible models 1316+ programs across Canada, including federal, provincial and territorial, and municipal layers, with local detail for 230 municipalities. Coverage depth varies by community. English and French are fully supported on the public site.
Can staff use it alongside clients?

Can our organization link to MyEligible?
Yes. You may link to MyEligible from websites, resource lists, posters, and email newsletters. Use the share kit below for copy-ready descriptions and referral links.
How current are sources?
Each program lists a last-reviewed date on the Sources & Methodology page. Government rules change. Confirm amounts and eligibility on official pages before a client applies.
Does MyEligible guarantee eligibility?
No. MyEligible provides information and estimates, not legal, tax, or immigration advice. Only the responsible government agency or program administrator can confirm eligibility.

Referral attribution (for staff)
When someone visits MyEligible through your referral link, MyEligible records only the approved organization code (for example edmonton-library). It does not record client names, quiz answers, or cross-site browsing. Unknown or inactive codes are ignored. Aggregated counts appear in internal reporting only; small volumes are suppressed to protect privacy.
