Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH)

Alberta's monthly living allowance for adults with a permanent disability that substantially limits their ability to earn a livelihood.

AISH has its own medical and financial tests separate from federal disability benefits.

Canada Disability Benefit (CDB)
A federal monthly payment for working-age people with disabilities who meet income and DTC-related requirements. It is separate from provincial disability assistance.
